Culinary Privacy Policy

Effective 23 July 2026 · Applies to the Culinary app for iPhone and iPad, published by Engelhardt Holdings B.V. (Angle Labs).

What the app stores

Your recipe library (a file you import from Culinary on your Mac), your cooking progress and timers, and your settings. All of it is stored only on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Culinary has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party services that send data anywhere. The app makes no internet connections of its own.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, they are used only to ring cooking timers. They are created and delivered on your device and are never sent to us.

Backups

Your imported library is deliberately not included in device backups — the Culinary app on your Mac remains the original source of your recipes.

A recipe can include a link to the website it came from. Opening it takes you to Safari, where that website's own privacy terms apply.

Deleting your data

Delete the app and everything it stored is gone. We cannot delete anything for you, because we never have it.

Your rights

Because the app gives us no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or erase — your information stays under your control, on your device.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

TestFlight and the App Store

If you use a test version through Apple's TestFlight, Apple may share your feedback and crash reports with us under Apple's own privacy terms, which govern those services.

Changes and contact

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address. Questions: [email protected] — Engelhardt Holdings B.V., the Netherlands.
